Swainson's Warblers are now arriving in the South, have gotten as far as North Carolina. This skulky, rare warbler breeds in the Southeast in wooded lowland swamps, canebrake and also rhododendron thickets in southern Appalachians. Best place to see it is on migration hotspots.
