If we hadn't been sitting drinking our morning coffee and looking out over the pond with our binoculars at just the right time, we wouldn't have witnessed this magic moment — a mother and baby moose swimming across the cove.As Don said recently, "the wonderful thing about Bobolink Farm is that you never know what's going to happen."
The moose were over 1200 ft. away, too far for most photography. I quickly grabbed my Canon Powershot A610 camera and held it up to the new "Stokes Birding Series" Sandpiper 65 mm Scope and snapped the photo.
