We're busy people. I haven't had time to get a blog post together today, so I'm using a photo of our garden that was recently submitted to a magazine. The water fountain in the middle attracts many birds.
I constantly think about plans for the garden this spring and how I will change it. I also am ordering many seeds from garden catalogs. We're having a snow storm today so it's especially nice to look at garden photos and be reminded of what's ahead.

Beautiful! You're going to have to post some of your plant choices too!
Your garden looks lovely.

That's a terrific garden centerpiece. We woke up to a minus 17 this morning. We're all ready for spring around here!
What kind of water fountain do you have in your garden? I am looking for a fountain that attracts birds.
The fountain is a large, metal antique cistern that we purchased as a garden ornament then turned into a fountain by putting a pump in it. We drilled a hole in a piece of bluestone, suspended the bluestone over some cobblestones, then put the pump under the bluestone to hide it with the spout coming through the hole and up through the water. You can turn any large container into a fountain by adding a pump.
